Thanks Andy for your kind words. I use catgut of size L for hooks of size #10 and #12. And size M for hooks of size 12 and 14.

Lucian, you are a truly gifted tier and your patterns are all great.

I am curious as to what size Catgut you use for these nymphs? I have been looking to pick some up as I know these would be a fantastic spring, summer and fall pattern for the trout on the Rivers of Vancouver Island.

Thanks Tomas :) Sometime I use latex and body glass half but catgut is a natural material and the color is great. If you want I can give you some :)
cheers

very nice flies...I use this type sometimes too. I don't have catgut, but elastic body glass is very good for this flies too.
