Video- Tying a nymph for muddy waters

When fishing in dark, murky waters after heavy rains, here are some fly color recommendations for good contrast:

High-Visibility Options:

  • Black: A classic choice for murky water. It provides a strong silhouette that fish can easily see.
  • Purple: Another great option, offering good contrast against brown or green murky water.
  • Olive: Dark olive shades can work well, especially if there’s some algae bloom in the water.
  • Chartreuse: This bright green can be surprisingly effective in dirty water, providing a contrasting pop of color.

So here is my most used fly for such situations. of course I used dubbing but with this new developed body threads ( Diamond Body Threads and Crystal Body Threads ) tying is much much simple, faster and flies are more efficient.
