Fly Tying

Here is a version of the famous Yellow Sulfur Din mayflies. What is interesting about her is that the body is made with UV Pearl Body Quill from Hends.

With all this craziness with UV reflective materials, I decided to make such a model myself. The fly will catch fish, it is not to be contested, the the question is if the version is better. This is quite complicated to verify. Anyway below are the materials:

• Hook: Maruto D23 BL #16
• Thread: yellow – any you like
• Body: Hends Body Pearlescent Effect Quill -BQP 206
• Tail: Coq de leon – Flor de Escoba sin penca or just simple Flor de Escoba
• Wing: CDC yellow one or two feathers tied reversed.
