Now, let’s dive into something equally effective and super easier to tie: the Caddis Larva – a simple, caseless version of this iconic insect. This fly sinks quickly, making it a fantastic option for nymphing ( any style you like ).

Materials:
- Hook : #12/16 Demmon 603
- Thread: Yellow Sumo 50 DEN
- Body: Yellow Yarn ( I use Mojo Yarn – color A10 which suits perfectly for such patterns)
- Legs: Coastal Dubbing – black
- Tungsten: big tungsten beads in black – to help the fly to sink fast and stay close to the river bottom.
