Egg Laying Rusty CDC Sedge

Egg Laying Rusty CDC Sedge is my kind of “Classic Sedge” – and I consider it a versatile pattern perfect for both trout and grayling! Tie it on for a buoyant dry fly presentation or let it mimic an egg-laying adult just beneath the surface. Known for its incredible efficiency, this timeless sedge fly I consider this fly a must-have in any angler’s box.

  • Size #14 hooks
  • 2 CDC feathers
  • Mojo Yarn in rusty color and green color, but you can use your favourite dubbing as well
  • Thorax made of Mad Rabbit Dubbing in natural grey mixed with orange or rusty brown.

There are a few tricks to make it balanced and to avoid bulky head, drop me a message if you like to see a video and I will do it 🙂

Cheers, Lucian
