I took the classic GRHE model as a starting point, and I’ve customised it with a partridge barbs as tail and teal duck barbs for legs for adding more realism. The body is a combination of hare in abdomen and squirrel fur in thorax part, and I’ve incorporated UV resin on the back for increased strength and durability.
Fly tying and fly patterns are a never-ending story, which is precisely why we love it so much. With a little creativity, we can make extraordinary patterns, and the fact that we can catch fish with them makes it even more rewarding.
