Fly Tying

Here is a new Perdigon model that works when dun and micro dun flies are starting hatching.

Materials:

• Hook in size #16-20
• Body: made of Hends Quills in green, light olive, olive – to match the local colors
• Tail made of Coq de Leon in flor de escoba or corzuno medio
• Hot spot made or hot red thread
• Bead – gold or silver

I love to fish this fly as long as possible, close to the river bank, under big trees when trout are going to hunt these insects. Long leader, one nymph and good and precise casts will make you smiling all evening. When dry flies will start hatching then you can switch on micro cdc dry flies. And you will continue to smile 🙂
