Peeping Caddis Nymph is one of my favorite fly for starting season. I’m not filling comfortable if I do not have this fly tied in different sizes in my box. Compared with other variations this is not nice at all.
In fact is ugly like hell with strange proportion but I will explain why:
-the bulky head will keep the hackle opened
-the large feather will provide long legs that will work much better compared with short barbs , practically will pulse in water
-the special mixed dubbing has different colors in it to reflect as much as possible the light in deep pools or in dark and muddy waters
