It is an old and forgotten fly that has been used for many years by numerous fishermen. Unfortunately, despite its effectiveness, I noticed that it had disappeared from my friends’ boxes. So, I decided to bring it back on the blog in the hope of sparking your interest to tie it again and keep it in your own tackle boxes. I really like this fly because it is simple and effective and good-looking at the same time. There are few flies that have these 3 qualities at the same time 🙂
I understand that the new fishing season is just around the corner, and many of us are eager to hit the waters. However, if you enjoy tying your own flies, I encourage you to take a look through books, old magazines, or fly boxes that may have been left behind in closets or garages. You may rediscover some old, reliable patterns along with fond memories.
